What we believe
"The sin that Adam and Eve committed was not being naked. The sin they committed was to eat of the tree that God told them not to. By doing this they gained knowledge which included shame.
Also under the precepts of sin and the divinity of God, who is holy, sin can not be in the presence of God. So if this is true then being naked can not possibly be a sin for Adam and Eve were both in the presence of God when nude.
It's God's design to be nude and the sin is to call something good that God did not define good ie: To call clothing good when God did not make clothing before nudity (although wearing clothing is not a sin and this is because God made a way (grace) for man to cope with his understanding of shame."
We are a mainstream non-denominational Christian church which follows the Apostles Creed.
I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
the Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended to the dead.
The third day he arose again from the dead.
He ascended into heaven,
and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty,
whence he shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy universal Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting.
Jesus died for you to pay the price for your sins, to reconcile you to Him, and to show His great love for you. His death is God's plan for your salvation.
"All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." -Romans 3:23
This sin has resulted in our alienation from God, but God wants a close and intimate relationship with you.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come to him, and will eat with him, and he with me." -Revelations 3:20.
You are invited.
If you have not yet received Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we invite you to do so now in the quietness of your heart.
"As many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on His name." -John 1:12
We invite you to join the family of God in the practice of baptism. Please visit us or a local church to plan for your baptism, and continue in fellowship and study of God's Word.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." -John 3:16
